Disneyland!

We spent the last two days at Disneyland and California Adventure. We really only went to California Adventure (DCA) because it was where we had to go to meet Ariel, but it turned out to be one of the best parts of the trip. It's not as crowded as Disneyland and the "kiddie" rides are a lot less scary. For example, in Disneyland we had to wait a really long time (remember that five minutes in line with Brynn and Callie is equivalent to 45 minutes without them) to get on rides like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and Peter Pan, and then the kids were sort of freaked out by the rides. The dark, the loud noises, the characters popping out at them, it all caused some sensory overload for them. Also, remember that they think everything is real, which makes some of the "tame" rides really scary - even It's a Small World was a bit much for Brynn. She said it was too loud, and I agreed!

DCA, on the other hand, has some great outdoor rides that are kid-sized and there were no lines! The outdoor rides were definitely more fun for the girls than the inside ones. Check out our photo album for pictures of the girls on their favorite rides and with all of their favorite characters!
