Here's a New York Times article emailed to me by my friend Courtney. It details the food problems that the US Olympic Committee expects to have while feeding our athletes in China during the Olympics this summer. It also explains our solutions. I find it very sad that it is impossible for the athletes to eat local food in China without ingesting dangerous amounts of steroids, pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, and other toxins. I hope that someday soon China will be motivated to change their approach to raising food...their agricultural state is far worse than ours, and I think ours really stinks.
