iPod shuffle giveaway.

Yes, I know. Giveaways are supposed to be for bloggers who get thousands of hits per day not, like, thirty. I'm no Pioneer Woman but this is my blog and I'll give away an iPod if I want to. Especially since it's for a good cause. So I'm doing the first ever giveaway here at Our Little Family. It's a good one.

Here's the catch, though...your entry in this giveaway is a donation to this year's Walk for Life. For every $20 you donate, you'll be entered once to win the Shuffle. So, donate $80 and that will get you four entries. Donate $150 and that will get you seven entries. Here at Our Little Family, we don't round up. The winner will be chosen randomly using the random.org number generator. We will assign each donor a number (or numbers) depending on when donations are made and how much is donated. So, if the first person donates $60, he'll be assigned numbers 1, 2, and 3. If the next person donates $20, he'll be assigned number 4...and so on. Not rocket science -- even I can figure this out.

The version of the iPod Shuffle the winner will receive depends on whether or not we reach our fundraising goal. Our goal is to raise $500. If we reach our goal, the winner will receive the new, fancy-dancy iPod Shuffle with VoiceOver. If we don't reach our goal, the winner will receive the (PRODUCT) RED special edition second generation iPod Shuffle. The RED second generation version is the model Scott and I use while we exercise and we love it. But wouldn't the VoiceOver model be cool?

You can donate by visiting our Firstgiving Fundraising Page. Your donation will not be visible to other donors, only to Scott and me and the folks running the Walk for Life so that they can send you a receipt for tax purposes.

All donations must be made by noon Mountain Daylight Time on Friday, June 5th.

Until the contest is over, I will keep this blog post at the top of our blog, but will continue adding new posts below. Don't get annoyed with me if you see this post here every day for the next week and a half...just scroll down and you're bound to find something new!

I prefer to think of it as rewarding the generous. :)
